Use the menus, knucklehead.

Forewarning: this may be one of the most important posts I will ever write. Not because of politics, religion, or even technical expertise; it’s because this is the answer to 1.9 billion Google searches of mine, and I am not alone in my frustration.

I know how to send a BREAK to a Cisco router, switch, or firewall, during boot, to send it into ROMMON from a Mac!

If you’re not slightly verklempt, there’s something wrong with you.

Seems like a lot people who’ve attempted this are trying to map keys with limited success, but the answer is much simpler: use the menu in SecureCRT or putty, and that’s true of Mac or Windows. <-- Notice that I didn't make any snide comments about Windows sucking really bad?
